If you want some change in your fast food menu then you must taste new fast food restaurant “Hardee's”. This new restaurant inaugurated at M. M. Alam road in Gulberg, Lahore – Pakistan. This franchise is acquired by MDS food private limited, a business unit of Super Asia Group. This company has planned to open more than 15 outlets in Punjab and NWFP.

Opening up just a few months ago, I was among those standing in the long lines waiting to try this new burger joint that had a bmw 5 series promoting it by roaming around Lahore covered in stickers of the restaurant, only to be disappointed severely. The long wait resulted in me finally arriving at the counter to see an over priced menu with small proportions of food, be it chicken or beef. Trying both, I was disappointed further to see that the plain thick burgers were more or less like the big mac and the chicken ones like the mc chicken burger, but only pricier. The free drink refill would have been a comfort if the staff did not keep staring at me every time I went for one. Other than that, the typical Pakistani favoritism culture persists here as many people broke the line and were escorted inside by waiters and also got their meals faster, and were allowed the few parking spots inside the area, allowing the general public to just wait and watch, and wait some more.

Hardees is a big disappointment and should be avoided, unless of course you are friends with the owner or you like paying a higher price for an item you can get for the same quality, at a cheaper price.
