Transforming dreams into realities- Another Special Initiative of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif; establishment of Pakistan's First IT University. Classes at Information Technology University, Punjab will commence from mid October and admissions are now open, 50% of the students of every batch will be funded by the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund on merit. The University will focus on research and entrepreneurship and is offering an MS degree in Computer Science. The University is being housed at the Arfa Software Technology Park and will be shifted to a purpose built campus at the education city next year.
